Eurotech® is a new development of Lankhorst Euronete focused on the use of efficient towing wires. Manufactured with aramid Technora fibres, it reduces the weight of the maneuver and improves its performance.

Eurotech® is a high resistance rope, composed by a Technora fibre core and a polyester covering. Technora ropes have been used in applications that need low weight, high resistance and an excellent resistance to the loading cycles over sheaves.

Eurotech® vs. Lankoforce® vs. Wire Ropes
 
The technora fibres used in the core of this rope, have a fusion point of 500°C, that almost triples the fusion point of the HMPE fibre ropes as, for instance, our line of Lankoforce ropes. This difference in the fusion point makes Eurotech® ropes up to eight times more resistant regarding the loading cycles over sheaves (bending-bending) compared to Lankoforce® and steel cables.
